What a hasty fairy tale

The reason why I decided to watch this movie is because of Nicole and the previous Lord of the Rings. If you want to come to Hollywood, this kind of film should be very interesting even if it can no longer be brilliant.
I was a little surprised after seeing it. It is quite rare for a film of this type to fail so well.
The special effects are good, but if you only have special effects, you can just watch Trailor. The plot is there, and the lineup is quite star, but the development of the whole plot is really scratching our heads.
Let me explain the star lineup first. Daniel Craig is also a generation of 007. The total time he appeared in the film was less than 2 minutes, and then he disappeared after playing. Later, he was caught on foot in the ice and snow again alone, even without equipment and rations. There is no longer a reality show. Very suspenseful. Nicole Kidman is beautiful. When walking, he twists his waist well, and his ferocious and nervous expression is also very natural, but he shows his scorpion's heart too quickly.
Then again, the little heroine. Brave, enthusiastic personalities are expressed as paranoid and agitated. So much so that decisions are made very quickly and even rudely. Hope this character will not mislead the children. As an interpreter of the instructions of the golden compass, it is too easy to learn to read. I hope this doesn't mislead the children, thinking that learning anything can be done just by closing your eyes and frowning for a minute.
As the Armored Bear Prince, the polar bear with the long name is also a very easy to persuade character, quickly going from a drunk worker on the street to a warrior fighting for a lost kingdom and dignity. With justice and anger, the enemy's chin was knocked off in a few back and forth, and this Prince's Revenge was over too quickly. Unexpectedly, it's another aggressive strategy from the little heroine.
Why the Yankees have such a deep friendship with Xiong Xiong is not explained in the film. After Xiong Xiong was rescued, Yankee followed the little girl with all her might.
Nicole's final lie in trying to get the golden compass is that kid I'm your lost mother and Craig is your father not your uncle. The clever little girl was not fooled, but firmly believed part of the lie - that Craig was her father.
The little girl is the lone hero in the film. After rescuing the children, get on the Yankee spaceship with Bear, a good friend.
It's strange why there is still a witch head on board. Her former love was Captain Gypsy, not a Yankee. Moreover, the head witch can fly, she once led her sister to fly to the north to help the little girl, right?
The little girl said firmly and joyfully to her good friend on the spacecraft: I am going to find my father, and we will go together.
This clearly foreshadows the second installment of the Golden Compass. Seeing this place, everyone in the room laughed.
Please, the first part is so sloppy, who do you expect to see the second part? Maybe this answers the question of why Craig is shown so little in this film, and there may be a lot of exposure in the second

film . Overall, this film is really not worth seeing. And since this kind of film is not worth watching, there is no need to buy a DVD.
Only one concept is wonderful, everyone has their own Demon. For this concept, I will probably look for the original book to take a look.

The Golden Compass quotes

  • Lyra Belacqua: If you value your lives, come no further.

Billy Costa: Why? We gobbled him fair and square.

Lyra Belacqua: This ain't no game, Billy Costa. Don't you know what this gate is?

Billy Costa: It's just the back door to your stupid college. So?

Lyra Belacqua: There's a curse on this gate. You gyptians ought to know that. Crossing this gate is worse than touching someone's demon with your bare hands.

Billy Costa: Why ain't nothing happen to you, then?

Lyra Belacqua: Because we live here. We got safe passage, see? And anyway, my mother's the one who put the curse on this gate in the first place.

Billy Costa: What mother? I heard you was an orphink and your uncle only left you here cause' nobody wanted you.

Lyra Belacqua: Come here and say that.

  • Lyra Belacqua: [as Mrs. Coulter tries to comfort her] No! Don't you touch!

Marisa Coulter: No one is going to hurt you. No one is ever, ever going to hurt you.

Lyra Belacqua: They did it to Billy and those other kids. They cut their demons away. Why? Why are they doing that?

Marisa Coulter: I know it's difficult to understand, but it's for their own good. It's just a little cut. Now, you listen. A long long time ago, some of our ancestors made a terrible mistake. They disobeyed the authority and that is what made dust came into the world. And ever since then, we've been sick with it. Been sick with dust. But there is a way out. You see, Dust doesn't settle on little children. It's later when your demon begins to settle. The Dust begins to swarm all around us,working its mixture and that is how children begin to have all sorts of nasty thoughts and unhappy feelings, but there is a way to stop it.

Lyra Belacqua: Well, if it's so good, then why didn't you do it yourself? Why didn't you let them do it to me?

Marisa Coulter: I'm going to tell you something. Something very important, something you don't know. Intercision isn't perfect yet, and you're not just anyone, Lyra. Your mother didn't die in an airship accident as you were told. She wasn't married to your father and even though and even though she loved you very much and she wanted to keep you. It wasn't allowed. So you were taken from her, and it wasn't until things changed... and she was free to do as she wanted... That she went to Jordan College and spoke to the Master.

Lyra Belacqua: No! You can't be!

[gets out of the bed and walks a few meters away from Mrs. Coulter]

Marisa Coulter: Yes, Lyra. You're mine. And you're safe with me. You'll always be safe with me.

    Lyra Belacqua: Who's my father?

[She took a minute to figure out, then she finally guesses who her father is]

Lyra Belacqua: Lord Asriel? He's my father, isn't he?

    Marisa Coulter: Yes. Yes.
