a disappointing movie

I recently re-watched this film and the evaluation of it was downright low
for no reason. Compared with the biography of Beatrix Potter I was reading at hand
, the interpretation of the characters in this film was very shallow and flat,
especially Miss Potter played by Renée Zellweger ( Great casting blunder)
seems
very pretentious to move Bridget Jones to 19th century England (with a round face and always pouting)
and nothing like the Beatrix Potter portrayed in the book,
a shy, withdrawn, uncommunicative artists and scientists

Ewan McGregor plays Norman acting part of
it is a bit over the depiction of the publisher of the book, although not much
, but he seems equally a shy with women .......
would not be in such movies singing and dancing in such a romantic marriage proposal
(in fact Norman is propose to Beatrix in the letter)

I do not ask how the film must be in line with the original or real people
as a result of restrictions or the shooting to attract big-name actors like romance or superstition audience
needed modifiers story and so on

but I care about is that the interpretation of the character and temperament
and character depth presentation
but the soul of two performances in this movie is a big fail
after watching the whole movie
in addition to sounding The music and the beautiful lake scenery are quite attractive. The
rest is
a little disgusting for the clichéd plot and the exaggerated acting skills of the two big-name actors.

Miss Potter quotes

  • Rupert Potter: Our daughter is famous, Helen. You're the only person who doesn't know it.

  • Beatrix Potter: [voiceover] There's something delicious about writing those first few words of a story. You can never quite tell where they will take you. Mine took me here, where I belong.
