When Sarah escaped and ascended to heaven, I could well understand how she felt when she stepped on the gas pedal furiously, and the accumulated fear and repression were also vented, but it was not a lighthearted, it was a greater fear, a fear of repression. Fear of being swallowed.
But in the end, I didn't understand, I don't know if all escape was Sarah's dream, or the director finally hinted that with this experience, Sarah has been able to face the shadow left by the car accident a year ago.
