The L word in two or three languages

Some people say that what you think determines what you see, not necessarily, but not necessarily. At least, regarding the title of the show, for some reason I thought it was "The L world" for a long time. One letter difference means very different meanings. It turns out that this is not just a film that reveals the world of lesbian, but also a film about life, love, loyalty, longing, lies, laughter, leaving, lust and loneness, but it happens to happen in the small world of lesbian inner. Look, isn't it all the word L?

Season 5 finally came to an end this week, and it was inevitable that I felt a little bit lost, like seeing a friend who had been with me for a while leave, and see you again until next year. This season is also the season I have watched the most attentively and moved me so far. The first season was so bold that I was speechless; the second season discovered Dana's beauty and Alice's cuteness; the third season was obviously a continuation of the dog's tail. I didn't finish it; I watched the first two episodes of the fifth season and then went back to see what happened, and it was a lot better than the first two seasons; and in the fifth season, Tina and Bette were my favorites. The complex scenes, those undercurrents, struggles, temptations, confusion, sweetness, bitterness and final certainty depend on each other, making people sigh, admirable and enviable. After going around in circles, the end point returned to the original point, and the one I loved the most was still the original one; I can't say that I looked back suddenly, but it was still the one in the dim light; the old people's hearts have never changed, just in the dust of time Blurred and clear.

The five seasons were not finished in one go. On and off, the interest in watching has gone through ups and downs just like the feelings of the characters in the film, from novelty to boredom to pause to irresistible to looking forward to watching one episode a week, the seanson season of American dramas has indeed made People both love it and hate it.

The characters in the film, Tina and Bette do not need to go into details. If I really want to compare my love for the two, I can only say that each has its own merits, and there is no superior or inferior.

As for Shane, I really don't see why she's such a heartthrob. When did women start to talk about sex and not care about their hearts like men? Be faithful to yourself, can you be an excuse and thus make a big fanfare to be a desire animal? Every season, I always think that she will change, every season, she is still; I think she is actually very pathetic, and even the only good thing about being a friend is destroyed in the end, Jenny turned around and said softly: "it's ultimate betrayal!" However, I really like the closing words of molly and shane when they break up: "take your time, I hope I haven't gone far by then". Bravo! What a smart woman, she treats hurt so calmly without losing her self-esteem: Yes, I love you, but love may not always wait there. If you are sure, you can take it slowly, just wait until you get lost and know your way back. , I hope I haven't gone too far! Missing me is your loss.

In comparison, Alice is still cute. When facing someone who appeared, she did not surrender to her instant desire, growing affection, and irresistible attraction. She was restrained by life, but it was a pity that she failed to reach the end together with Dana. This pair, unlike Bette and Tina, can catch your eye immediately, more like a cup of tea, you need to taste it slowly to feel the beauty.

Jenny, never liked it.

Hellena and Marina, two beautiful, tall and aristocratic women, are still quite pleasing to the eye. It's a pity that the scenes are a little less. There are actually a lot of places for these two characters, but they were lightly let go by the screenwriter. Pity.

2009, what kind of ending will it be?

The L Word quotes

  • Alice: [talking about admitting that they are attracted to each other] Well, we just took the first step, we took the power out of it.

Dana: [they slow down their stretching and begin to stare at each other. Dana kinda snaps out of it] I think we need to take the second step.

    [and jogs off]

    Alice: [nodding] Yeah, okay.

Alice: [little bit later on] We need to counteract it. We just need to avoid all situations where we find each other most attractive.

    Dana: Mm-hmm.

Alice: We need, like... rules of un-attraction.

Dana: Okay, like never be alone together, in places like the bathroom at The Planet.

Alice: Right! Never be alone together.

Dana: Especially never be alone together... in places where's there's like a bed or a couch.

Alice: Right, or - or - a table.

    Alice: Or a floor...

    [Dana smiles]

Alice: Or the backseat of a car.

Dana: [smiling] Ooh, that'd be good.

    [catching herself]

    Dana: That *wouldn't* be good!

Alice: Okay, you need to stop showing up at The Planet after you've worked out, when you're all sweaty and your veins are all popping all over the place.

    Dana: You like that?

Dana: [Alice raises her eyebrows and looks at Dana like duh!] Tonya hates that. Alright, well then you can't wear those shirts any more.

    Alice: What shirts?

Dana: You know, the ones where...

    [grinning]

Dana: they cling to you in some places and fall off you in others?

Dana: [Alice has a huge grin on her face. Dana kind of rolls her eyes] Fuck you.

Alice: Okay, that's *totally* against the rules.

  • [Jenny and Annette are in the bathroom at Tim's house having a light conversation about Jenny's affair. Jenny is on the floor sipping a cup of water, while Annette gets ready in the mirror]

Annette: So Jen... were you always a lesbian?

Jenny: [Takes a sip of water] I never said I was a lesbian.

Annette: So it just came outta no where and bit you on the ass like that? Cause I mean... I love women... yeah I mean, for the companionship. I figure I could do without the company of men entirely except dude

    [turns to Jenny]

Annette: I can't get down with the puss... I love a dick.

    Jenny: I think I'm bisexual.

    Annette: Oh brother...

Jenny: [interrupting] I do... I really do.

Annette: Jenny, is this just your way of telling me that you had a crush on me in college?

    Jenny: Annette...

    [gets serious]

    Jenny: ... no.

Annette: [smiling] You're lying... You were madly in love with me.

    [Turns back to the mirror]

Annette: Well I gotta get a look at this Marina, to see if she's worth it...

    Jenny: [smiling] no...

    Annette: yeah

    Jenny: Oh no...

Annette: Yeah... no we gotta stalk her, no we gotta stalker her jenny just a little bit so I can see.

Jenny: no, no, no... no stalking

    Annette: Why?

Jenny: Because... um... her girlfriend's back in town.

    Annette: Her Girlfriend!

    Jenny: I know...

Annette: Man, does this story get any better?
