Elizabeth visited the Commonwealth for her father George VI when he was seriously ill. During his stay in Kenya, George VI died and Elizabeth returned home in a hurry. He ascended the throne on February 6, 1952, and was crowned on June 2, 1953. Churchill formed the cabinet again from October 1951, with Eden serving as Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Secretary. Princess Margaret liked George VI's valet (RAF Lieutenant Peter Townsend, with a family), who was appointed purser to the Queen Mother after his death and divorced his wife. The Duke of Windsor in New York returned to London to attend the king's funeral and talk about his annual salary by the way. In theory, after Elizabeth inherits, it should be changed to the dynasty of her husband's surname Mountbatten. The Queen later decided to continue the House of Windsor on the advice of the Cabinet and the Duke of Windsor, and left Clarence House and moved to Buckingham Palace. This goes against two wishes of Prince Philip.
