Very disappointed...

I grew up wishing I could have superpowers. I have really entered the society now. Whenever someone asks me about my ultimate ideal in life, I will shamelessly say: "Hahaha with super power". After reading the X-men trilogy and the Heroes episodes and countless other bullshit sci-fi movies, there is always only one that makes my mouth water the most - the great teleport...like the man in this jumper Like the protagonist.
So when I found the trailer of this movie on apple movie at the end of last year, my heart was full of infinite expectations! Has a sleepy-eyed actor Hayden like Tracy McGrady, and has directed Mr. and Mrs. Smith and The Bourne Identity director (although I don't really like both dramas), and the heroine is also somewhat similar to Avril Lavigne, cool The dazzling scenes (travel does not cost money...), and the most important thing is that the teleport function that I have longed for is the main line of the whole film, how can I not look forward to it! So after that, I put down countless versions of the trailer, put it on the iPod for my good friends to see, and boasted how awesome this movie would be...
Finally, JUMPER was released in the United States, and it can be downloaded in China. For the first time, the mother was tricked into a gun version and went directly to the recycle bin. I just found a clear version on the school's intranet yesterday. I'll just watch it without saying a word. Although I've seen a few movie reviews before and dismissed this movie as useless, it's still high because I've found the movie reviews inadvertently and reliable many times before. Happy to open Baofengyingyin.
After watching the movie, I finally fell in love. No, this is a misnomer. I mean I suddenly realized that the whole movie is a bluff and anticlimactic! The plot is incoherent at all, and almost nothing is explained clearly, and the dialogue is extremely ridiculous and absurd...
The first shot of the film is really shocking. Hayden is standing on something in Egypt, and the momentum that dominates the world is very shocking. Then there is the narration of the protagonist, introducing the origin of his ability, he went to pick up the glass ball and fell into the lake, just when people thought he was returning to the west, he suddenly found himself in the school library. This was the first time he realized the teleportation ability. Then the protagonist's perverted father ran away from home and got a lot of money by robbing the bank through teleport (I want to declare, I like teleport but never go to rob a bank... I'm a good person~)
Everything is explained here. To sum up, the protagonist's teleportation ability, the perverted father, the mother who ran away from home, and the little girl who adore him.
Then the movie starts going downhill all the way. As soon as the camera turns, the male protagonist has grown up, from an unknown handsome boy to Hayden. This has a time span of many years (he later learned from his father that it was 8 years), 8 years... This is my 5th and 6th grade in primary school plus 3 years in junior high school and 3 years in high school, and then I feel all the Does the plot just happen a today-to-yesterday transition? ? ? So is the investigation into the bank robbery, and the plot of David going back to find his little girlfriend. It doesn't feel like I haven't seen you in eight years, and it's 8 weeks to die. And why not explain the hero and heroine, I didn't see that they were a couple before? ! The conversation between the two of them was also super nonsensical, not like the conversation of a normal earth person at all. There is also another teleporter man (forgot his name) who has been following DAVID, how can he follow without a head! ? And the miraculous appearance of the protagonist's mother makes people feel that they have seen a ghost -_- and the core background of the whole movie has not been explained clearly. What religious gang has been chasing and killing teleporters for centuries? It's too much nonsense...why? Because of their fanaticism about God? In the end, David went to his mother (his mother lives in Antarctica?), and then his mother told the world that the reason why she had abandoned her husband was that she belonged to that gang. After finding out that her son was a teleporter, she left to protect him. The... Seeing this, I cried. Because the movie is over because this movie stinks! ! ! What a waste of a good subject!
It cannot be denied that the special effects of the movie are still very good, but the bells and whistles of special effects can never replace the soul of a good movie - the story!
Alas, I thought I could dream that I was teleporting at night after watching this movie, but because the movie was so disappointing, I didn't dream of anything. sigh...sigh

Jumper quotes

  • Roland: [about David's mother, who he realizes is a Paladin] When's the last time you saw her?

William Rice: She split when the kid turned five.

    Roland: Five. Oh.

William Rice: [opens door] Haven't heard a word since. If I hear anything, I'll be sure to give you a holler.

Roland: [closes door] No, you won't.

    William Rice: No, I won't.

  • David Rice: [to Roland] I told you I'm different. I could have dropped you with the sharks.
