desperation

From the beginning of the film, the short and rapid sound, combined with the montage lens change, created a very amazing and soul-stirring suspense atmosphere. Who is the murderer? The audience was hooked right from the start. It's a classic Hollywood movie, and the soundtrack and background rendering are all in place.

A well-dressed and sought after doctor in the past became a fugitive from the world overnight, just to clear his guilt, rehabilitate himself, and find the real murderer of his wife. After suffering a series of major changes, he overcame unprecedented difficulties with instinct and perseverance, and completed his own redemption. This is a belief in living, a kind of greatness that can only be honed by how much humiliation and injustice he has endured. Ask yourself, what should we do when we encounter a similar situation? He is not a saint, he is just a good man, a good husband, and a good doctor, but he has created greatness in the ordinary.

A good actor will allow you to be recognized in a fictitious segment of life and gain a real feeling. Maybe this is the fascinating part of the movie. Everything is fictitious, and only your feelings are extremely real.

The Fugitive quotes

  • Cosmo Renfro: [after Kimble has just lept off the dam to escape] What happened? Where'd he go?

Deputy Marshal Samuel Gerard: The guy did a Peter Pan right off of this dam, right here.

    Cosmo Renfro: What?

Deputy Marshal Samuel Gerard: Yeah. BOOM.

Cosmo Renfro: [stunned] Holy shit... Can we go home now...?

Deputy Marshal Samuel Gerard: [flustered] No...

  • Marshal Biggs: This is hinky, this guy's a college graduate, he went to medical school, he's not gonna come through all the security, go to the county lockup, to find someone his own people say does not exist. Hinky.

Deputy Marshal Samuel Gerard: Well, what does that mean Biggs, 'hinky'?

Marshal Biggs: I don't know. Strange.

    Marshal Henry: Weird.

Deputy Marshal Samuel Gerard: Well, why don't you say strange or weird? I mean hinky, that has no meaning.

Marshal Biggs: Well, we say hinky.

Deputy Marshal Samuel Gerard: I don't want you guys using words around me that have no meaning. I'm taking the stairs and walking.

Marshal Biggs: [sotto voice] How about 'bullshit?' How about 'bullshit', Sam?
