desperation

"Desperados" is an American action crime film adapted from the TV series of the same name. It tells the story of the doctor Kimbell who was pointed to by all the evidence to be the murderer of his wife, and then proved that he was not the murderer.

The plot of the movie seems to reflect life itself. It's cold, objective, and no one is emotionally charged with hunting and evading. However, it is always when we ourselves are not paying attention that the true warmth is revealed. Before it stopped, the plot continued. The film uses the lens to narrate. Compared with the live stage, its advantage is the dazzling interspersed presentation. Therefore, perhaps just as drama must go deep into the excavation of the scene, the movie can bring this kind of camera narrative to the extreme in the colorful storyline. Some plots are not fancy, they are interesting, not because of accident, but because of the ever-changing energy that people burst out in times of crisis or emergency, showing the extreme interaction between physiology and psychology.

The Fugitive quotes

  • Cosmo Renfro: [after Kimble has just lept off the dam to escape] What happened? Where'd he go?

Deputy Marshal Samuel Gerard: The guy did a Peter Pan right off of this dam, right here.

    Cosmo Renfro: What?

Deputy Marshal Samuel Gerard: Yeah. BOOM.

Cosmo Renfro: [stunned] Holy shit... Can we go home now...?

Deputy Marshal Samuel Gerard: [flustered] No...

  • Marshal Biggs: This is hinky, this guy's a college graduate, he went to medical school, he's not gonna come through all the security, go to the county lockup, to find someone his own people say does not exist. Hinky.

Deputy Marshal Samuel Gerard: Well, what does that mean Biggs, 'hinky'?

Marshal Biggs: I don't know. Strange.

    Marshal Henry: Weird.

Deputy Marshal Samuel Gerard: Well, why don't you say strange or weird? I mean hinky, that has no meaning.

Marshal Biggs: Well, we say hinky.

Deputy Marshal Samuel Gerard: I don't want you guys using words around me that have no meaning. I'm taking the stairs and walking.

Marshal Biggs: [sotto voice] How about 'bullshit?' How about 'bullshit', Sam?
