Leave the hustle and bustle of the world behind

In a country with low status for women in the world, India must be on the list.

Domestic violence is extremely common in this country, with many incidents of violence against women occurring every day, yet the divorce rate is only 1%.

In India, not only is child marriage common, but women's status in marriage is also very low. Many women have no source of income and must depend on men, which is why they are not respected by their husbands.

"Slap in the Face" depicts women from three different classes

In addition to Amu, who is from the middle class, there are also her family's maid and the female lawyer she hired.

The maid came from the bottom of the society. Although she worked hard every day to support her family, she was often beaten and kicked by her husband because she could not have children.

After being beaten, the maid would occasionally question her husband why he beat her, and the husband would answer aggressively: Do you still need a reason to beat you?

From the perspective of a domestic violence man, beating his wife is just like eating and sleeping. It is a normal thing, and there is no reason at all.

And the female lawyer is bright and beautiful on the outside, but in fact, there are some hidden secrets. Even though she has outstanding abilities as a feminist lawyer, she has always been ridiculed by her husband because of her father-in-law's status to achieve today's achievements.

No matter how difficult a lawsuit she wins outside, she will always be asked by her strong husband to be a little woman when she returns home.

In the film, Amu is determined to divorce because her husband's slap completely destroyed her love for her husband and this family.

If she accepts the slap, it means accepting the unfairness behind the slap.

Then it means that the once beautiful and proud dancer will become a woman who can be beaten and scolded at will.

If the macho husband is not made aware of this, there is no need for the marriage to continue.

Therefore, she understands the significance of resisting domestic violence, which is that when it appears, it must be resolutely curbed, so that the other party can understand his bottom line and defend his dignity.

I hope this film makes every woman understand that home is a haven of happiness, not a place of violence.

For women, everything can be sacrificed for love, but this sacrifice must be respected and must be for someone worthy.

When I love you, I can go through fire and water for you; when I don't love you, I can walk away gracefully.
