This film has all the elements of a commercial blockbuster: a famous director, a gathering of stars, science fiction themes, realistic special effects, plus global disasters, it is full of gimmicks. And the film did not disappoint the audience, the whole process was ups and downs, fascinating. With the director’s stylized artistic approach: you can clap your hands with humorous lines and make you cry with sensational scenes. Michael Bay is really good at this kind of movies with excellent action, blasting, special effects and audiovisual effects, and then intertwined in the emotional stories of the characters, it can be described as ingenious. It is really difficult for other people to have such a shocking charm like him. This also laid a solid foundation for him to direct blockbuster films such as "Pearl Harbor" and "Transformers" in the future. I think the difficulty of the film does not lie in the visual, auditory and atmosphere creation (of course, there is no problem for an excellent director who specializes in this type of film). It's how to make a hackneyed film where everyone can guess the end just by looking at the beginning. This is the success of the film. Fortunately, the director did this. Although the whole story is dominated by action scenes, it is mainly emotional-not the plot to save the world but the feelings between the characters. Utilizing all the three elements of family, love, and friendship, it tells the manifestation of personal heroism and the strength of American spiritual power. And some people are always upset about this idea, but I think it is understandable. After all, other people's Hollywood movies are indeed mainstream, and others will not flatter themselves to cater to the tastes of other countries. The fact is that the greater the capacity, the greater the responsibility. Taking a step back, this is just a science fiction movie, a commercial blockbuster. To put it bluntly, it's good-looking, this is the most important thing, why bother to care about issues other than other movies. The last point is that the music of this film is very good. Half of the credit for the film's success should belong to the soundtrack. The more than a dozen pieces of music throughout the film are sometimes majestic and powerful, sometimes throbbing and tearing, so that the audience can be fully engaged and overwhelmed. Overall, this movie did not disappoint me. The old movie from ten years ago is still so thrilling and affectionate. This is a success in itself.
