The plot should be simple. The death of a girl from Ukraine sparks a brief overlap between the ordinary world we live in and the twisted, violent, brutal society that lives behind the sun.
It's just that it uses a calm and almost cold tone, with real and unadorned violence, between and outside every line, and in every picture, it shows its succinct, powerful and irresistible. The tension of resistance.
It was as motionless as a mountain, and the undercurrent was turbulent.
And that group of almost perfect actors also performed those mysterious characters almost perfectly. Maybe for a moment, they are them.
Yes, almost all the actors in the film are not ordinary.
I especially want to mention the character Kirill.
Because kiril was spoiled like a child and didn't know how to get along with others, he became the most emotional person inside. Compared to NIkolai, his weakness, depression and confusion are more familiar to me - although his sudden outbursts of emotions make me always have to question his relationship with Nikolai evilly. Really, his presence does give me a sigh of relief. Less transcendent, so unknowable, so dangerous.
Not as shuddering as Nikolai.
Speaking of Nikolai, I have to say that Nikolai's mental structure fascinates me. How strong does he need to be in order to balance his inner justice and goodness with the bloody sins of the outside world, so that he can do nothing in his daily life?
In other words, he finally asked to stay, how much of it was because of a sense of mission and responsibility, and how much was because of other things?
The ending of the movie is also great. Although some people say it's abrupt, but that's what I'm looking forward to: it's a world we'll never know, so let it stay there.
Although the bone-eating yin was so wisps seeping up along my skin.
Looking for a Better life.
In fact, what I said is all nonsense, such perfection still has to be felt in the cinema.
During those two hours, I could only take it. Whether it's the gushing blood, the ugly and rude violence that one wishes to never see in person, the tenderness in the struggle, the dim hope that is barely visible.
Can only accept. until now.
