The scheduling exploded, and the feeling of the main road was photographed in the claustrophobic and small space. Several characters appearing have their own characteristics, which well support all aspects needed for a wonderful story. Although the expectation of a deep excavation of human nature that I thought would appear has come to nothing, in the face of such an excellent and compact anti-war melodrama, I dare not ask for more.

Captain: Take pictures of the crew returning, not putting out to sea.
Lt. Werner: Why?
Captain: They'll have grown beards by then. It would shame the Tommies to see mere boys give them Hell. Baby faces. Ones that should still suck mama's breast.
[pause]
Captain: I feel ancient around these kids, like I'm on some Children's Crusade.
