Today, I actually watched two movies by myself (I usually enjoy being alone), and after going to the hospital, I was a little tired after going to the hospital and planning to watch this at night, but I was also very engaged. Maybe the physical state will also affect the psychological. At this time, it may be easier to "break the defense" and cry a few times. Of course, this movie will be my best in 2020, and it will definitely be rewatched in the future. Not just because the audiovisual effects of the theater are a plus.

Now let's talk about this movie

I want to answer a question first, which is also to express my understanding of some friends who are indifferent or have low stars.

"Why am/won't I suddenly be struck by something so simple"

Not because the themes and core expressions are actually not "new", just like romance films and gangster films. Then why are you impressed, because there can be very big differences between different movies, maybe it's a moment when a certain sound and picture are combined, maybe it's just an ordinary mirror, and I think it has something to do with everyone's state, no It refers to the specific state of today, but a long-term state. Some people have been busy and frustrated recently, and some people are living in a spring breeze. When faced with a "heart-warming chicken soup", they will naturally enter their state of mind. There is a big difference, for example, people who don't feel it may think "this is how life should be, why do I need you to tell me these truths", people who like it or even have never thought about it will feel "Ah, so life can be like this", sometimes you need someone to tell you something, sometimes you have understood it, but it has been suppressed or given up after too long, so you need it periodically

First of all, it was the first thing that touched me very, very much. This is also what makes this movie special to me. When I was in junior high school, or for the second time in my life, I thought about death because of my politics at the time. The teacher recommended us a book. I still remember the name and content of the book "The Other Side of the Sky", so when I saw this idea in the movie, I wondered if I got the inspiration from that book. .

That book touched me very much at the time, and it still is. The content was probably about a little boy who had an accident because of a car accident, and then found that everyone would come to the same place as a transit point. After thinking about it clearly, he went to heaven, and then he went to heaven. The guy with the bond will stay forever. The little guy returns to the world with determination and finds that his desk and locker in the classroom have been replaced, and the girl he likes will be as usual after two weeks as other classmates. In life, he also discovered that his parents and his sister who had been fighting with him all the time loved him so much that people couldn't hear or see him, but he could use his thoughts to manipulate objects in a tiny way. After he did everything possible to make his sister perceive his existence, he flew to heaven with satisfaction.

The little boy's life is too short, so he is unwilling, thinking that he has not lived enough, while the guy in Soul feels that he has not "lived" at all.

Later, as a jazz lover, or a music lover, I am more likely to have more feelings for this movie. Although I am not a creator, I am just a very ordinary music fan, but I include Hobbies, including jazz, are often seen as "something but not", and bread problems are often used to evaluate brainstorming, which is a dilemma that each of us faces. In a sense, it can also be equivalent to the "dream" in the movie. After all, it is also his sincere and fanatical active choice.

To this day, jazz is associated with symbols such as petty bourgeoisie, romance, and upper class. I find it very uncomfortable. When the performance record culture was prosperous in the last century, it was really mixed for musicians, mixed for business, and for music fans. It is also a mixed enjoyment and mixed entertainment, that is, the "popular music" of the last century. For me, it is just a hobby. As for those parts hidden in the music or the music that inspired me, I won't tell you. ~

Talk about a few moments/elements that touched me⑧

1. The male protagonist expressed his confusion to the female musician (it feels like Nina) after the performance: I don't think I have the strong feeling I imagined. The woman just told him: the difference between water and the sea is sometimes not so strong.

2. Later, when I returned home, I couldn't help but bounced up, and I saw things and people in front of the things left by the little kid, and reached a state of ecstasy. I'm not here to talk about the goal. /Ignite what a person wants to live and chase for. Sometimes it is really just an atmosphere, watching the autumn leaves fall, looking at the sky, dizzy, unable to catch fish, etc., I think life is for these departures Live in an instant.

3. In the film, the male protagonist successfully went back to the world to play for one night and then went back to find the little kid. After finally probation the little kid, the little kid said what about you before he left.

He said "I've lived once", which is the moment in the movie that touched me deeply

"I can be hero, just for oneday"

The setting here in the movie also corresponds to the male protagonist going back to "live" for a day. I think it is very good here.

In the end, the soundtrack is top-notch, and I enjoyed it very much. Today I posted a screenshot of the year-end music in the circle of friends. One of my seniors who went to work commented on me: When the trend loves freshness, I reply to him: I'll stick to my old fashion.

Soul quotes

  • Joe: You ready?

    22: Huh?

    Joe: To come live.

22: ...I'm scared, Joe. I'm not good enough. And anyway, I... I never got my spark.

Joe: Yes, you did. Your spark isn't your purpose. That last box fills in when you're ready to come live. And the thing is, you're pretty great at jazzing.

  • 22: [in Joe's body] Like my mentor George Orwell used to say, State sponsored education is like the rattling of a stick inside a swill bucket.
