It's an excellent work, but if it's rated as high as 9.3 I think it might need to be viewed with a more critical eye. The biggest flaw of the work is that it does not give satisfactory answers to the set life questions. Does the meaning of life necessarily need to be sparked by a goal? This is a good question, and the film gives many examples of people getting lost because of their goals or obsessions, which are very appropriate and inspiring. But when the film tries to answer what a spark can be, it seems a bit cliché: just enjoy life. This is really unrealistic, isn't there a cost for not being able to accomplish the stated goals? How to embrace such a price and justify such an exchange? These are not answered, the film is just trying to enjoy life to comfort people who are frustrated in life, it is difficult to convince (at least me), I think Pushkin's "If Life Deceives You", which everyone has learned, is better: Don't be sad, don't be impatient, everything will pass, and what has passed will become a beautiful nostalgia.
Another obvious shortcoming of the film I think is the second half of 22. The heroine, who was originally aloof and free and easy, ended up not reincarnating because she was afraid of failure. It really made the previous thorough understanding of life pale and powerless. The film seems to be saying It is because everyone is aiming to achieve their goals that people like 22 dare not come to the world, but the charisma of such a timid 22 is greatly reduced.
"Spiritual Journey" is a good movie, but compared to the 9.1 points of Dream Hunter and the 8.7 points of Inside Out, the score of 9.3 is really too high.
