Slowly understand

People in religion have seven sins: 1. gluttony, 2. greed, 3. laziness, 4. jealousy, 5. pride, 6. lust, 7. anger

I think these are actually related to the environment in which everyone grows up and lives. The Chinese Three-Character Classic says: at the beginning of a person, nature is good. A person who has lived in a good environment from an early age can avoid many bad habits. One is among the evildoers. People who grow up won’t get any better. Of course, it’s not absolutely dependent on human nature. As long as the nature is not bad, there will still be some consciences, but there will inevitably be some bad habits, not all People will be like some male protagonists in some TV dramas, because they have different original crime rates and different control abilities.

I can understand everything else, because it will cause more or less harm to other people, but I don’t understand why binge eating is also a sin. Does it mean hurting myself? Can someone give me the answer?

    William Somerset: Not here.

    David Mills: I understand that.

William Somerset: Well, over the next seven days, Detective, you'll do me the favour of remembering that.

  • Police Captain: [to Mills] What do you think?

    David Mills: I'm in.

Mark Swarr: It has to be both of you.

William Somerset: If he were to claim insanity, this conversation is admissable. The fact that he's blackmailing us with his plea...

Mark Swarr: And my client reminds you, two more are dead. The press would have a field day if they found out the police didn't seem too concerned about finding them... giving them a proper burial

William Somerset: If there really are two more dead.
