Starship Troopers

Starship Troopers is a very good movie, mainly about the war between humans and bugs in another planet. The bugs are probably the most common in the whole film, and I see every bug looks like it. Especially like an ant, because I feel like a mantis, and sometimes I feel that it is quite like a mosquito. I can't say what the insects are in it, but it does give people the feeling that it is very scary and scary. Although a little victory was achieved in the end, the story is still far from over, and the war between humans and orange continues.

Although the film is a bit old, it is very classic

The first one is still very classic, and it was made like this in 1997. The most memorable part is that the officer took out his gun. You thought he was going to kill insects, but in fact he wanted to give the soldiers who were taken away a happy life. Later when he was eaten off his legs, he also asked his subordinates to give him a shot. Reminiscent of Lieutenant Dan in "Forrest Gump", he would rather die in battle and be a martyr instead of struggling to survive. The section where the Zerg set a trap that caused the human army to almost annihilate was also photographed naturally, not reversed for the purpose of reversal. Although there were reversals in Part 2 and Part 3, they were all forced reversals, and there was no sense of bright light anymore. The shots of battleships traveling through space are also shocking, and it is hard to imagine that they were taken in the 90s. In particular, the scene of the Zerg launching venom to attack the fleet has surpassed the monster movie and entered the category of science fiction movies, making people feel the vastness of the universe and the insignificance of human beings. The fly in the ointment is that the positioning is just a popcorn movie. If the script is better, the discussion on human nature, science fiction, and alien races would be better. This is where the gap between this film and "Alien" lies.

Starship Troopers quotes

  • [Ace is having difficulty with throwing knives]

Ace Levy: Sir, I don't understand. Who needs a knife in a nuke fight anyway? All you gotta do is push a button, sir.

Career Sergeant Zim: Cease fire. Put your hand on that wall trooper. PUT YOUR HAND ON THAT WALL!

[Zim throws a knife and hits Ace's hand pinning it to the wall]

Career Sergeant Zim: The enemy can not push a button... if you disable his hand. Medic!

  • Ace Levy: Don't worry, you still got me to kick around.
