The plot really hurts a lot

Without Connery, Costner, and De Niro, a group of big names supporting the scene, this film would never be able to have such an inflated rating now, and there are indeed too many flaws in the plot.

Legendary gangsters, Chicago typewriters, prohibition, anti-criminal, and real historical background, they could have become classics, but the plot of the running account can't hold up.

There is only one problem to mention, that is, the problem of fighting the black group of four. The four-person task force that appeared out of nowhere was too sloppy, too thin, and too face-lifting. In a place where the whole city was corrupt, even though two people were sacrificed, the victory was still very easy, and two members also died. careless.

Why did the Ministry of Finance send Kevin to Chicago to fight the underworld? Why did Kevin agree to break into the dragon's den of the tiger's den by himself? How good is the marksmanship of the auditors of the Ministry of Finance? Tongtong did not explain.

When I met an old patrolman on the street, I hurried in. The glasses accountant quickly turned into a gunfight master. Because of his good marksmanship, a police academy student was willing to fight the well-known and famous Capone with a second-hand gun?

Now that a group of four of us can wipe out the black boss in a town, we all know that it is very difficult, not to mention Chicago in 1930. Everyone understands that the source of Black Boss's power is the protective umbrella behind him, and Capone is no exception. Historically, Capone was sentenced to 11 years for tax evasion. During the investigation and prosecution stage, the task force was working in a city where corruption and underworld forces were rampant, and the pressure from all sides could be imagined. The director seriously tells about the temptation, pressure and how to deal with and resolve the case during the handling of the case, which is already a very wonderful historical story. It is a pity that the director did not dig into the characters, motives and verification details, and downplayed the real history, but arranged some brave and exaggerated scenes of gun battles to fill the content, which is a pity. I feel a little sorry for the finance department and other honest and kind people who helped put Capone in jail.

ps: Capone was later sent to Alcatraz Prison in San Francisco, and Connery and Nicolas Cage made another brave break. Capone was later paroled and released from prison, with a lot of money and a good pension, but he has been plagued by syphilis and eventually died of syphilis.

George Stone: To protect the property and citizenry of...

Malone: Ah, don't waste my time with that bullshit. Where you from, Stone?

George Stone: I'm from the south-side.

Malone: Stone. George Stone. That's your name? What's your real name?

George Stone: That is my real name.

Malone: Nah. What was it before you changed it?

    George Stone: Giuseppe Petri.

Malone: Ah, I knew it. That's all you need, one thieving wop on the team.

George Stone: Hey, what's that you say?

Malone: I said that you're a lying member of a no good race.

George Stone: [He cuffs Stone across the face. As he draws back his arm again, Stone presses a gun under his chin] Much better than you, you stinking Irish shit pig.

    Malone: Oh, I like him.

Ness: [Ness looking a bit nervous and Malone smiling at Stone] Yeah I like him too.

  • Reporter: [interviewing Capone while a barber shaves him] And what of your reputation for violence? That those who don't buy your product are dealt with violently?

Capone: [pulls his face away from the razor, sees that he's bleeding slightly, the barber looks horrified] S'alright. I grew up in a tough neighborhood and we used to say "You can get further with a kind word and a gun than you can with just a kind word."
