There is a movie plot that has always been impressive, "Thank You for Smoking", the protagonist is a chief PR defending the tobacco industry.

One day, the protagonist went to his son's class to participate in the parent's day, which is to tell all the children about his work and life. As soon as he said that I spoke for tobacco, a little girl said loudly to him, "My mother said smoking is not good".

The protagonist said, "Does your mother smoke?", the little girl shook her head; the protagonist then said, "Is your mother a researcher?" The little girl shook her head again, and the protagonist said again, "Is your mother a doctor?" The little girl was a little ashamed; the protagonist finally said: Then why should you listen to her opinion? The little girl almost lowered her head to her chest.

This plot is plain sophistry, but it also reveals that we should refer to experts, rather than blindly trust the opinions of irrelevant people.

For example, I went to buy a ticket once. According to online information, I should go to the International Hall on the second floor to buy a ticket. I asked the security guard in the square, and the security guard said that you should go to the ticket hall on the first floor to buy a ticket. I hesitated for a while, and felt that it was unreliable to believe in the security guard. He was not an expert, and the information on the Internet was the result of personal experience and verification by others. Should I go directly to the 2nd floor, the result is to sell tickets on the 2nd floor.

If I go to the 1st floor and find that it's wrong and then go back to the 2nd floor, even if it's just a few more steps, it will give me a sense of frustration that I didn't stick to my opinion and made a mistake.

Refer to experts, insist on yourself, and the rest of the people should just put P.

Just a debate with the tobacco industry as the background stage. In fact, it has nothing to do with spreading smoking awareness. It can be seen from the fact that there is no smoking scene in the whole film.
