Saw an Indian movie this week called Slap.

The heroine Amourita used to be an outstanding dancer. After marrying her husband Vikram five years ago, she volunteered to be a housewife. She not only has to take care of household chores, but also a good helper in her husband's career.

Amulita's day is very busy. She has to get up in the morning to prepare breakfast and water the flowers. Then she has to test the blood sugar of her sick mother-in-law. After that, she has to go back to the room and call her husband to get up and prepare before the husband goes out. Well, the folder he uses for meetings, she takes care of both inside and outside, her husband loves her, her mother-in-law spoils her, and everything in the marriage seems to be perfect.

But at a party, during a heated argument between her husband and company executives, she suddenly slapped Amulita, who was running to fight.

This slap can be said to be almost for no reason, because five minutes ago, the two were still hugging sweetly, not to mention, many of their relatives and friends, Amulita's parents, brother and brother came to this party. 's fiance, they were all there, and Amulita was simply disgraced.

The husband didn't leave an apology, turned around and left, and the others continued to cheer, as if it was a particularly normal thing for her to be beaten. Amulita's world was silenced. She was silent in the small room for a long time. Her mother-in-law came over and said that there were guests outside, and their housework should not interfere with the guests.

In the matter of being slapped, the mother and brother told Amulita that her husband was just on impulse, he would not be like this in the future, and no one said it was wrong.

The next day, the husband spoke to her as usual, as if she had not been slapped. She was silent and frustrated. Her husband's actions were to take her out to dinner and give her expensive gifts. She waited for days without an apology.

Amulita packed her luggage and returned to her parents' home, but received a lawyer's letter on the grounds that her husband accused her of not wanting to go home.

A lawsuit started here.

India has the lowest divorce rate in the world at just 1%. In India, more than 50% of women experience this kind of thing. In a family, the husband beats the wife without any reason.

The female lawyer persuaded Amulita to go home because no one would separate because of a slap in the face, which was unreasonable.

Amulita said: "I was happy to be part of his life dream, but I became a slap in the face, does it make sense? I chose to be a housewife and no one forced me, but here. In the meantime, he can't hurt me? It's just a slap in the face, but he shouldn't have hurt me."

The female lawyer asked her, "What do you want?"

"I want to be happy, not lie and say, I'm happy," Amulita said.

There are three paths in front of Amulita, 1 to go home, 2 to legally separate, and 3 to divorce. She chose the most troublesome one, divorce.

When they learned of her decision, almost everyone around them felt incomprehensible, especially her mother and brother. Isn't it just a slap in the face? As for bringing this matter to court, let outsiders see jokes and not talk about marriage. It's unfair from the very beginning, and it's you who suffers from a divorce.

Amulita insists that the marriage is fair, and the unfairness is the slap in the face. People are used to being unfair, and the slap makes her sober.

She said her college dream was to be respected and happy, and it still is.

However, after twists and turns, she found out that she was pregnant. After her husband found out, he hugged her excitedly and began to plan their bright future, but he never mentioned the slap in the face, and he didn't mean to apologize at all.

The mother and mother-in-law took turns to fight, and said to Amulita that the family is the most important thing. For the sake of the child, don't make trouble. Things have developed to this point, and some people even think that this is a trouble.

——So far, the conflict of the plot is the most intense.

Amulita's mother said: "My mother told me that family is the most important thing.

Amulita's mother-in-law said: "Women don't matter, as long as the son is happy, the husband is happy."

But who can be more important than yourself?

If you are not happy yourself, how can you make others happy?

If you can't even get the most basic fairness and respect, how can you pursue happiness?
