I've never understood why Rose is special to the Doctor, and the Doctor's love for her is so deep, to see her travel across the universe, across two dimensions, and detonate a supernova.
Martha is smart and witty, and has traveled all year for Dr., but her love is possession, and she will be jealous of Rose who has never met.
Donna is funny, kind-hearted, and sacrificed herself to save the universe. And the enduring friendship with Dr. is also frustrating.
Maybe love is for no reason, she shows up and he falls.
