Conjuring Back: A Story Beyond Correctness

"Curse Back to War" is the only one in the new October show that I will update every week.

Although it is suspected of being a stumbling block, and there are many seniors' sense of sight, this work has an amazing characteristic: it does not pursue the ordering of good and evil in the narrative and moral preaching.

Whether it is the "pursuit of the right death" of the knotweed, or the return of Nana Ming to the world of magic in order to be "thankful" and the meaning of life, or the goodness of Gojo Satoru as the strongest chaos, and the evil spirits of the villains who are pure to human beings of malice.

The author adopts an onlooker's perspective more, and narrates relatively conservatively and restrainedly. If you can express it with actions, you don’t use words too much, and if you can express it with facts, you don’t need to comment.

At the same time, the author thinks very carefully about the logic of the character's actions, and rarely acts against the character's own worldview and personality in order to pretend to be handsome. The most obvious is Xia Youjie's blackening. The author uses delicate brushstrokes to depict the collapse of his perceptual level, which has nothing to do with correctness, and jumps after staring into the abyss.

This narration method that abandons correctness brings a cool texture to the work, a kind of restraint like a documentary. We follow the author to watch the life and death of teenagers, youth and non-human beings intertwined with swords.

In this process, the boundaries between good and evil are constantly changing and ambiguous: the curse spirit also seems to have a part of human nature, and human beings also seem to have a part of arrogance and madness.

But in any case, all love, hatred and hatred will eventually pass away with the individual, and all the pursuit of meaning in meaningless life will eventually be cleared again with death.

Even so, the characters in the author's pen have not given up their pursuit of self. This makes the exit of each character more regret and sadness. Because with the disappearance of this material carrier, the spirit it carries will no longer have the opportunity to be seen by us.

This is the passing of the soul.

Gu Cheng has a poem: "Life is like an ant, beauty is like a god." I feel that it can partially resonate with the spirit of this work. Whether it is to keep the ideal and move forward or to live lazily, time and destiny will never stop for someone. The sun rises again, the dead are lost in the wind and the shadows of trees, and in the hearts of the living they have gained a certain eternity beyond time and space.

"To protect others, to die surrounded by others."

So the innocent boy took the curse of his family, swallowed the curse, and stepped into the world of magic.

"You are the strongest, and your choices have meaning."

So the genius who was laughing and laughing decided to save others, restrained his free temper, and became a teacher.

The curse will not disappear, and the cycle of killing and saving will not end. Even so, the people named sorcerers are still moving forward.

Searching for meaning in meaninglessness is probably life.

But aside from the correctness of the story, why don't we reflect ourselves in the joys, sorrows and sorrows of these characters?
