Feeling stronger than history of violence

Cronenberg's film has many similarities with the history of violence, but I personally think it is stronger than the history of violence. Of course, I don't shoot the reasons why I prefer Naomi Watts. The whole movie is so dark and depressing from the music to the picture. The movie doesn't deal with those violent scenes, but shows the killing scenes very directly. Of course, these are also the director's consistent style. The male lead in the movie, Viggo Mortensen (who also starred in The History of Violence), was so good that I kind of ignored Naomi's performance.

Gangster crime theme, Hollywood-style stories and perspectives, Cronenberg has printed his own label as soon as he came - naked violence without evasion, cutting neck and eye is fast and cruel, naked balls and baby umbilical cords All have eyeballs. Despite this, the film's repeated nagging about the ordinary little girl who came to London to find a dream in order to escape the hardships of her hometown but ended up in a miserable life is still a bit too vulgar. My favorite of his films so far is "Crash"
