Being at the center of a pandemic, compared to this movie 10 years ago, how ridiculous the US government looks today.
Nearly 7 million people have been infected, and the quality of officials is half the quality of the CDC in the movie. The funny thing is that CDC and Homeland security all exist in reality. In contrast, they really seem to live in a parallel universe.
Two pieces of news today, one is evidence that the Trump administration is pressuring the CDC to keep the number of infected people from growing as quickly and as ugly. In other news, Trump held a campaign rally of several thousand people in Nevada, ignoring instructions from the state government.
This kind of America, the wrath of the sky and the resentment, really don't know if 2020 is going to kill it.
