A Girl Named Charlie

After seeing the trailer, I was amazed by the scenes inside, starring Jean Reno + the beauty of Ukraine, which made me decide to go to the cinema to see this film. I looked for drama reviews before I went there. The low score had prepared me psychologically, and I didn't have any hope for the plot. After actually watching it, I was really convinced by the screenwriter's intelligent operation.

The film begins with the white snow in the Ukrainian forest, which is also the main scene of most of the plot in the film. The film is set in Oroville, California, USA. At the beginning of the film, the heroine rode a snowmobile in the forest, but Shuai rolled over in a few seconds, and she was rescued by the killer played by Jean Reno when she lost consciousness.

As soon as the picture turns and the time goes backwards, I have to say that Jean Reno is indeed suitable to play the killer. His indifferent and dull eyes are a bit sharper in addition to wrinkles as he gets older. Kill a tycoon in the sauna and leave without incident.

Since the films are often only 91 minutes long, all the characters are portrayed on the surface. It can be seen that the old and young people in the police station are a pair of tacit partners. The superior received an order to prepare for promotion. Before leaving, the two had a slightly emotional conversation.

For this murder case, the police started with Brigler, a subordinate of the rich man. During the investigation, Brigler dropped the name of the rich's child Charlie, which became an important clue for the next stage of the police investigation.

But who would have thought that Charlie turned out to be the heroine. The patriarchal father was unhappy that his wife had given birth to a daughter, so he simply named her a boy and sent her to a boarding school from an early age, resulting in a congenital lack of fatherly love for the heroine. The 14-year-old Christmas gift received a flute that Uncle Brigler bought for the rich. The heroine may have always regarded Brigler as a substitute for her father, but in turn, Brigler only He was regarded as a tool for power seeking, and hired a killer to sign a contract, directly buying out the lives of the father and daughter.

The heroine of this film is afraid that she will be the worst of the year, the motorcycle overturned, and she has endured the devastation of several traumatic treatments. She makes a heart-wrenching howl from time to time, and has practiced various skills to try to avenge her father to make up for her childhood trauma. However, he was easily counter-killed because of his poor skills. He learned how to set a gun, learn to hold his breath, and learn to walk a single-plank bridge, but he didn't learn to ride a snowmobile. In the end, he was struck by the sentence "Revenging doesn't make you his daughter" in the long knee-deep chat with the killer, and performed a Stockholm drama for everyone with practical actions.

The black guy is the second most miserable character in the film. From a conversation in the car, it can be seen that he and the heroine are childhood playmates. Maybe he has feelings for the heroine, but because of his identity, he has to go against his heart. A contradictory character is doomed to tragedy, the flag is flying when renting a motorcycle, and it is given for nothing after a pointless shootout with the killer in the woods.

After the storm subsided, the heroine was wrapped in a blanket and huddled at the foot of the bed, looking a few years younger, and the killer came back from the outside and found her. Perhaps at this moment, her desire to escape from boarding school and long for her father's attention has finally come true.

In the movie, the killer was killed by the police, and the heroine got Sun Tzu's art of war and phone number, opening a new road of revenge.

In addition to the too bloody characters, there are too many slots. The script is terrible, but the scenery is really good. Maybe it's really like what a friend in the short comment said, this film is used for money laundering.

Two stars for the scenery and one for Jean Reno, it's not easy to get old.
