Everyone says this drama is an anti-superhero drama, yes, indeed. Man-made superheroes (such as Marvel, DC heroes) will always look flawless, just like children's lustful heroes and heroines. This drama does the opposite, focusing on pulling superheroes off the altar. The slightly innovative perspective will surely attract a lot of praise: look, this is what an adult sees. However, I am not very interested in this point. Instead, I think the show is quite ambitious, and there are a lot of things to say (or irony):
1. Human rights issues: Can the interests of a single person be sacrificed for the benefit of the majority? Can a superhero sacrifice the life of an innocent person for most people to fight criminals? Don't even want to apologize?
2. Gender (or subordinates or new and veteran) discrimination issues: Starlight’s unspoken rules are like the unspoken rules for female college students who have just left school to enter the ideal enterprise, and they are like the unspoken rules of higher-level employees who throw new employees' work cards on the ground. The new employee picked it up, like a veteran bullying the new recruit.
3. Family education issues: Are children a tool for parents to vent their desire to control? In family education, where is the boundary between parents and children? What are the serious consequences of the lack of parental roles when children grow up?
4. Religious issues: Is religious belief a truth that saves the soul or a tool for ignorance and control? Starlight's speech on the stage is expected to stun the Christians who watched the show.
5. Political issues: In order to be needed by oneself, the enemy can be made out of nothing, or even created. The abstract role of homelander has vividly interpreted the image of the United States. He not only possesses a powerful ability that no one can defeat, but is also extremely selfish and hypocritical. There is no enemy, and the enemy is created. The enemy steals technology through illegal means and becomes powerful. Of course, these are not important. The important thing is that the enemy really exists and is strong, so that the domestic people believe that they are inseparable.
6. Drug problem: Especially in sports events, athletes take illegal drugs. I am the proud boy of heaven, how can I lose?
7. Entertainment stars: All kinds of characters, lines, and every activity are carefully planned. Every line and every action are designed in advance. In order to increase traffic and hype explosive events, superheroes can rub fans with each other.
8. Personal growth question: Should I stick to my heart and be myself? Or do you follow the crowd and suffocate everyone?
I think of so much for the time being, welcome to add...
