Afterthought

It feels so naive and quilted~ I don’t have the taste of childhood anymore. When I was young, I couldn't sleep at night. The technology at that time was not as advanced as it is now, so everything in the film feels reasonable, but it doesn't work now. It's impossible to develop like this. There are also many scenes in the film where the glass is blown up, but now it is all bulletproof glass. There is also the appearance of Mars, which is not a hue at all. But the story is still worth watching. Watching the 1990s sci-fi commercial movie in 2020s is really like having chicken legs and eating chicken ribs.

Waiting for the new and the old, except now that the governor is a big guy with no acting skills and a dead body, he is still so hi and so cult~ The old movie is high~~~ There is absolutely no B movie element in the new version.. .But the technology was limited back then, the new version of sci-fi elements will be hilarious...

I didn't watch this version, but I found this version when I searched it and found that I have seen it too. I said how familiar the plot is, I was still a Schwarzenegger fan at that time...

Total Recall quotes

  • [Quaid's costume malfunctions and his cover as the Fat Lady is blown]

Douglas Quaid: [to a group of Agency officers] Catch!

[he throws the Fat Lady mask, and one of the officers catches it]

Fat Lady: [smiling] Get ready for a surprise!

    [the mask explodes]

  • Hauser: Howdy, Quaid. If you're watching this, that means that Kuato is dead, and you led us to him. I knew that you wouldn't let me down. Sorry for all of the shit I've put you through, but hey, what are friends are for? All I want to do is wish you happiness and good living, old buddy, but unfortunately, that's not gonna happen. You see, that's "my" body you have there, and I want it back. Sorry for being an Indian giver, but I was here first. So, adios, amigo!

[the screen zooms out to reveal Cohaagen, who puts his hand on Hauser's shoulder]

Hauser: And thanks for not getting youself killed. Hey, maybe now we will meet in our dreams. You never know.
