Mother = mother of creation, inspiration

Writer = Writer status in the creative phase

house = writer's brain, creative space or mind

Heart/Crystal = source, inspiration

baby = works of birth

Crowd = story material and later readers

A blood hole in the floor of a room = a loophole in a story created in the mind that can never be perfect, an imperfection or a flaw in the work?

The writers in the film rely on isolation to create. The house is surrounded by trees and lawns, away from the hustle and bustle (the house is a symmetrical structure, like a symmetrical brain), and at this moment, the inspiration in my mind also appeared. She can never leave the house, but inspiration alone is not enough to create, it needs material, and material (crowd) keeps pouring into the house (brain). The first act is Adam and Eve with Cain and Abel. Every choice of material will stimulate and consume inspiration, so she will always suffer from physical discomfort and angina due to the influx of people or actions, and the gradual withering of the heart in the room, which means that the inspiration is gradually consumed and exhausted.

The climax is like a stream of consciousness, a process in which a lot of material fragments emerge from the writer's mind. The crowd at the back represents the readers, and the man tells his wife not to drive them away. The relationship between the writer and the reader, of course, he should dedicate his work (baby) to the reader, and the fanatical reader reads like crazy (eats the baby). But in the end, it is because of this loophole in the mind that the work is imperfect or failed, so the writer has to re-create and get inspiration again.

The title Mother is both a mother of creation and feels like the opening of a prayer, (because of the exclamation mark) a writer praying to the Mother of Creation (Our Lady) for inspiration. So my personal point of view is in favor of the new path of writers' creation.
