There are a lot of religious metaphors in the film, and of course the story is from the Bible. Beowulf is called the wolf that eats honey, which actually means bear. With the super good music in the film, the spirit of the Nordic heroes is externalized incisively and vividly. This story should be about the end of the ancient heroic era. The final heroic doomsday chase. The sea is the lying mother, she will never bring me back to her dark womb. All the lines are so heroic. This is what it should be like to be a man. This Nordic robber spirit is so cutely interpreted.
