Ryan Murphy needs to slow down.

When watching this play, my brain kept replaying a sentence I had seen: "Hollywood is the product of the game between the gay community and the capital of straight white men". The script is framed by endless sex, alcohol, and insanity, the characters are not human, only human, which means, being eye-candy as it might, the whole show is not so much a "love letter to Hollywood" as it is Ryan Murphy dedicated to Hollywood with vintage gv-colored erotica. From «American Crime Story: Versace» to «The Politician», Ryan Murphy has exploited this genre too much that it becomes repulsive.

    Supplementary comments after reading: Just like "Meghan" in the TV series, the last episode of this TV is too illusory and full of all kinds of perfect conjectures. It is ironic to think that in reality people still struggle with discrimination based on sex, gender, race and geography. Murphy is indeed very ambitious, and wrote such a love letter to Hollywood in his mind. The shell of comedy does exist, but it is only the shell. The logic that drives the characters makes people a little confusing, and the various kinds of people are overwhelmed for the first time. The group portraits are not as three-dimensional and vivid as the previous "hidden figures" that also talked about disadvantaged groups. What kind of weirdo is Ryan Murphy, how come there are so many works... I count the 20 dramas that he produced or directed that I have watched. There must be...
