very cool non-mainstream movie

After watching it, I felt that this movie seemed to have nothing to say, and the theme was a little dull. To borrow a sentence, "too bookish", especially when Max was chased by two factions at the end of the film, I thought the climax was coming, and the mystery was about to be revealed. But here, the film ends abruptly with max giving up the brain organization with keen mathematical intuition. Maybe we are too deeply influenced by commercialization, but to be honest, simply discussing the relationship between numbers and the world makes the theme tend to be monotonous, which is also the biggest shortcoming of the film. However, the flaws do not hide the truth. The whole movie has a unique black and white tone, the exciting digital password suspense, and the compact plot unfolding. The whole process is completed in one go. From the viewer's point of view, the compact plot, attractive suspense, and will not bring much burden of watching the movie, it is definitely worth watching. Of course, the premise is that you must like suspenseful movies, and like to use your brain occasionally when watching movies.

Archimedes can figure out how to tell if the crown is made of pure gold. It is his wife's credit, because his wife told him to take a break and take a bath, so he found the buoyancy rate of water in the bathtub. Is it science that ignores life, or life lacks Discovery? Mathematics is the least threatening science, but the most destructive to the human will. This is the reason why people cannot explain the ultimate consciousness through continuous enlightenment.

Pi quotes

  • Maximillian Cohen: 11:15, restate my assumptions: 1. Mathematics is the language of nature. 2. Everything around us can be represented and understood through numbers. 3. If you graph these numbers, patterns emerge. Therefore: There are patterns everywhere in nature.

  • Maximillian Cohen: Restate my assumptions: One, Mathematics is the language of nature. Two, Everything around us can be represented and understood through numbers. Three: If you graph the numbers of any system, patterns emerge. Therefore, there are patterns everywhere in nature. Evidence: The cycling of disease epidemics;the wax and wane of caribou populations; sun spot cycles; the rise and fall of the Nile. So, what about the stock market? The universe of numbers that represents the global economy. Millions of hands at work, billions of minds. A vast network, screaming with life. An organism. A natural organism. My hypothesis: Within the stock market, there is a pattern as well... Right in front of me... hiding behind the numbers. Always has been.
