Recommendation index: If only the lens is considered, ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
One sentence introduction: Sibling love is true love in the world.
01 I don't know why
One is a fledgling young police officer, the other is a murderer who made an explosion, and they fell in love. How did he fall in love? I don't know. Anyway, he fell in love so deeply that the police brother was willing to help the big devil sister escape from prison and fly away.
Based on my current viewing experience with the Great Demon King (only 4 of the Hobbit trilogy are counted), this unforgettable affection should be due to his magically blessed eyes. It's the same in Carol, and it's the same in Heaven. As if in an instant, with one look, the younger brother/sister was successfully abducted.
But if you thought it was a romance, you were wrong. Although it only lasts for more than 90 minutes, the necessary elements of a blockbuster such as drug trafficking, corruption, crime, gunfights, friendship, love, and family affection are actually everything, and with absolutely superior camera language, sometimes people ignore the plot itself.
02 Tom Tykwer
German director, screenwriter, producer and composer.
Directed works: "Because", "The Dying Maria", "Lola Run", "Perfume", "Cloud Atlas", "Super Sense Hunting", etc.
Apart from this film, I have only seen "Perfume", and I don't know much about the director's style. Judging from these two works alone, the director seems to be just casually telling a story. It doesn't need to be too deep, and it doesn't necessarily have to be a lot of sales, just do your best to use the lens in your hand, even if it sometimes makes the story seem trivial and messy.
Heaven is like that. Blanchett with a bomb appeared on the scene, thinking it was a crime movie; the police department quickly solved the case and interrogated it, thinking it was a psychological movie; the police brother fell in love at first sight, thinking it was a romance movie; the top police officers colluded with corruption, thinking it was an anti-drug movie; They secretly planned to escape from prison, thinking it was a police and gangster movie; the protagonists both fell in love and confirmed that it was a romance movie; in the end, the two flew to the sky together and realized that this should be a drama. It's not a reversal, but it's really rich.
03 Krzysztof Kieslowski
Polish director and screenwriter.
Directed works: "The Tram", "The Imprint of Life", "Cinema Fan", "Ten Commandments", "Two Flowers", "Blue, White and Red Trilogy", etc.
The public generally believes that his pessimistic and skeptical worldview has influenced his creation to a large extent, making him a film director who explores human nature and the ultimate value of life through film language.
But not familiar with me. Maybe it will slowly ripen.
