I like this woman

I like this woman.
I want to be this woman.
What touched me the most in the play were the two dialogues.
One was when Irene confronted the top management of the p&g company, that was a eloquent and unafraid questioning.
A section is when George is about to leave Erin, Erin's spiritual monologue.
I think these two paragraphs are enough to describe this woman I admire.
To quote, let yourself always remember "
First, after your defense, we have found more than 400 plaintiffs, let's be honest, everyone knows that the number of plaintiffs is more than that, they may not have high education, but also Knowing how to divide 1/20 million yuan can’t even afford a fart; second, these people don’t want to get rich overnight, they just want their children to be able to play in the water freely without having to remove the uterus at the age of 20, so in When you are proposing compensation for laughing dead, Mr. Huake, let me ask you to think about how much your spine is worth? Miss Yamazaki, please think about how much is your uterus worth? Then take out your computer and multiply the With 100, as long as it is less than this number, it is a waste of our time."
"For the first time in my life I get people respecting me, please don't ask me to give up, you think my child's father is giving up Before I left, did you ask me what I wanted to live? I have surrendered to men and sacrificed for men all my life. This time I quit, I'm sorry, I won't do this."
A mother of three children A single mother, unemployed, bankrupt and still within 18 months, running for all citizens poisoned by polluted water, perhaps only in this job can she feel respected and valued.
I have always despised those little women who put love in the supreme position. After watching this movie, my belief has been strengthened "no man, wo also be happy!
Postscript; Written on Singles Day, it may be a bit self-deprecating, but only the film is really worth watching! Strongly recommend it!

The hearty comedy rhythm, the inspiring inspirational plot, and the sturdy beauty played by Roberts are worth reading. There is a contrast in the play, the top student and the uneducated rude heroine. Both are actively helping others, but the former is out of pity, helping others is a condescending charity, thankful that they do not have to bear similar pain; the latter is out of compassion, helping others is a kind of fraternity, and the recipients can feel the equality and respect they give.

Erin Brockovich quotes

  • Erin Brockovich: Are you going to be something else that I have to survive? Because... to tell you the truth... I'm not up to it.

  • Ms. Sanchez: [at the meeting with the PG & E lawyers] Let's be honest here. Twenty million dollars is more money than these people have ever dreamed of.

Erin Brockovich: Oh see, now that pisses me off. First of all, since the demur we have more than 400 plaintiffs and... let's be honest, we all know there are more out there. They may not be the most sophisticated people but they do know how to divide and $20 million isn't *shit* when you split it between them. Second of all, these people don't dream about being rich. They dream about being able to watch their kids swim in a pool without worrying that they'll have to have a hysterectomy at the age of *twenty*. Like Rosa Diaz, a client of ours. Or have their spine deteriorate, like Stan Blume, *another* client of ours. So before you come back here with another lame ass offer, I want you to think real hard about what your spine is worth, Mr. Walker. Or what you might expect someone to pay you for your uterus, Ms. Sanchez. Then you take out your calculator and you multiply that number by a hundred. Anything less than that is a waste of our time.

[Ms. Sanchez picks up a glass of water]

Erin Brockovich: By the way, we had that water brought in specially for you folks. Came from a well in Hinkley.

Ms. Sanchez: [Puts down the glass, without drinking] I think this meeting is over.

Ed Masry: Damn right it is.
