Mr. Glass blew up Kevin's father when he blew up the train. The Beast's personality was to protect Kevin from being hurt, so the Beast was angry and slapped Mr. Glass to death. Casey rushed up and grabbed the beast that was about to go, and moved the beast with his true feelings, so the beast's personality changed to Kevin, and Kevin was shot by the police and died in Casey's arms.
