Do the Right Thing

House puts "Everybody lies" on the lips, looking at human nature from all negative angles, rejecting all intimate relationships, but encountering Wilson who sees the world in the opposite direction. Wilson is so eager to be needed and does his best to help at all costs. House, his life was messed up because of this, and House didn't appreciate it either.

Watching "House" will think a lot, House is right, people are such selfish animals, ready to sacrifice others (interests) to protect themselves, but also to use smiles to whitewash hypocrisy. Selfless devotion is only based on the instinct of continuing the future generations. Behind the effort must be some form of solicitation. Wilson doesn’t think so. He does his best to help the patients, friends, and colleagues around him, and gains some meaning from helping others, because his assumption is that people are worthy of being helped, because he gets spiritual from helping others. Even subconscious satisfaction (even if physically tired). And House just do the right thing, not for the meaning given by humans.

The charm of House is that he always "does the right thing", and his perverse personality is that he is unwilling to change himself. "Thank you, sorry," and smile when you see people. The so-called etiquette is just a common rule in society, but it does not guarantee that you do the right thing. There are more examples of good intentions doing bad things.

"Meaning", what we pursue all our lives, is it just a layer of sugar coated with self-deception and bitterness?

The entrepreneur said: I have built a great company, created countless wealth, and let people use better products and live a better life.
The craftsman said: I observe the sun rising, the moon setting, the mountains, the forests, and the sea, and I find the perfect curved surface. The solid, practical and beautiful building is the best gift I leave to the world.
The writer said: I record the changes of the times, describe the beauty and ugliness, and leave the traces of history to future generations. The wealth of wisdom will never be wiped out.

The writer laughs at the craftsman: How can a strong building withstand the erosion of time? Only spiritual wealth lasts forever.
Craftsmen laugh at entrepreneurs: Who will remember your products in a few decades? My creations always attract people's amazement.
Entrepreneur laughs writer: What about a decent life in a poor life? Which one is important to save people’s souls and fill everyone’s stomachs?

Do not seek meaning, just do the right thing, this is House.
