Marriage, as a product of modern civilization, is flawed. The untamed part of human nature is always there. Survival or destruction is always a choice. Very French film, Sophie Marceau and the movie characters are perfectly integrated. The male protagonist is a bit...get can't get the charm. The film has a bit of an MV style, and the episodes are well chosen, which fits with the development of the plot and promotes each other. It won't be bloody if it doesn't happen.
