I don't like it very much, but it's good

1. Watched the 171-minute director's cut;

2. The first half hour is very catchy:

The heroine's sister and parents passed away, and the progress of the picture has a terrifying atmosphere;

The female protagonist is anxious and insecure. On the one hand, she wants to rely on her boyfriend, and on the other hand, she is worried about the contradiction of becoming a burden on the male protagonist;

The male protagonist's love for the female protagonist is exhausted, and it is difficult to speak if he wants to break up;

The embarrassing situation of the male and female protagonists getting along: the female protagonist is terrified and careful to please, and the male protagonist is struggling and has nothing to do.

The indifference and perfunctory of the male protagonist's friend to the female protagonist;

3. After entering the small Swedish village, it is difficult to say a few words. Let me talk about a few scenes that are impressive:

(1) The heroine was taking drugs and felt grass growing on her feet; in my opinion, after entering the village, the heroine's mental state has always been a bit like taking drugs: dull and dizzy, which may also be related to her mental state. Echo it.

(2) Two 72-year-old elderly people jumped off the cliff; the scene is bloody not to mention. The key is the performance of the onlookers, who are very calm and happy, and even the heroine and her party of four did not express too strong emotions; instead, the only British couple who was shocked and flustered seemed abnormal.

(3) One of the heroine's companions was skinned, and the human skin was put on another person to commit murder;

(4) When the male protagonist was drugged and mated with Maya, the scene was too weird. Although everyone present was naked, it did not make people feel evil at all;

(5) People who were hung in mid-air with their lungs taken out;

(6) The male protagonist was put in the bear skin and burned with the other 8 sacrifices.

4. There is a sense of separation between the first half hour of the film and after entering the village. The front is very realistic. It is easy to empathize with the heroine when watching it, and I feel her anxiety and unease, and I can't save my relationship with the hero, but I dare not say it. The embarrassment of breaking up is very realistic. But it became very unreal afterwards. When I watched the film, I often pulled it out, thinking that it was made up by the director, not real, and could not resonate.

5. Some characteristics of the film as a horror film:

(1) It happened in midsummer in Sweden, the sky was hardly dark for a few days in the extreme day, everything was bright, even if there was a terrorist event, it seemed to be normal, I felt that it was wrong for me to be uneasy;

(2) Until the end, the male and female protagonists did not realize that they were in danger, and there was no chance to confront the "evil", and they were almost solved quietly;

(3) The heroine finally converted to a cult.
