Jane in our lives

The first movie I saw in the cinema after coming to America. In the huge venue, all the ladies who came together were sitting together, which matched the plot very well.

6 people, 6 months, 6 Jane's novels, a very American movie, very much like a compressed version of an American drama (specifically which ones, don't need to be seated correctly).

The series of embarrassing details of American life that were overwhelmed at the beginning made everyone present laughed sympathetically. This has nothing to do with Jane, but it is the reality we have to face every day. Therefore, although what everyone is talking about is Jane Austen, they all reflect their true state. Jane, in our lives.

If you are depressed after watching "Become Jane", you might as well watch this light-hearted work, which does not have Jane's story, but has Jane's essence.

The Jane Austen Book Club quotes

  • Daniel Avila: [speaking to Sylvia after running into her with the woman he left her for] I'm sorry, we don't shop on this side of town, ever. Sorry. You can have this Whole Foods. We won't ever use it again, ok?

  • Grigg Harris: Isn't physical attraction one of the the ungovernable forces? You know, like gravity - that's what we like about it. Downhill, release the brakes, loosen your grip and then - whoosh!
