Very CULT & very CUTE movie! !

Extremely spoof, extremely CULT film. Those religious ideas that are contrary to common understanding are not known to believers, but I find it very interesting and subversive: God is a woman, and she is also very FUNNY, and her dress is very avant-garde; angels see Go up like a little boy who just entered college, and kill people with a gun without even blinking an eye; and that prophet who talks a lot, always clamoring to have sex with the descendants of Jesus. Even gods, angels, or demons are very human, they can be angry, afraid, and a little romantic. This is the kind of movie that you don't take too seriously, just casual, what's wrong? !

Not so disgusting shit comedy + serious religious issues. The issues (theosophy, etc.) caught are serious enough, and the stories are not serious enough. The lines are quoted from scriptures. Satire Disney. Black disciples, sexual prophets, and archangels are subversive and fun. Big Ben and Matt are somehow in their own way. These two people really can't act (true colors?). Far-fetched (how to find God?) is inevitable.

Dogma quotes

  • Rufus: [to Bethany] The man was right about you. And I am going to go home and tell him so.

    [to Jay And Silent Bob]

Rufus: And if you clean up your language, I JUST might put in a good word for you too.

    Silent Bob: Thanks.

  • [Bethany meets Serendipity]

Bethany: Let me guess. The 14th Apostle, left out of the Bible because she's a woman?

    Rufus: This girl's no woman.

    [to Serendipity]

    Rufus: No offense.

Bethany: Oh, so those weren't tits I saw Jay cozying up to?

Serendipity: [hugs her breasts] What, these? You should know better than anybody at this table that tits don't make the woman.

Rufus: Hell, the tubby coat-wearin' motherfucker's got tits,
