Steel straight man Shrek

If the first two, I still like Shrek

The Frog King died, and Shrek, who originally assumed the throne, was bent on returning to his swamp, rejecting the succession to the throne, and embarking on a arduous journey to find Fiona's cousin to be the heir. On the other hand, before departure, Fiona told Shrek that she was pregnant. Shrek was not a surprise, but more worried about the future parenting life.

Can I say that Shrek is a straight man of steel that can't be more ordinary? Obviously he can make himself better, but he refuses to leave his comfort zone. He is used to the single life. In the two-person world, he fears that he will take responsibility after becoming a dad.

Fiona has been my favorite Disney princess image since the first part. She knows how to compromise with reality and with her beloved. She gave up her beautiful appearance to become a monster like Shrek, and finally gave up her own country to follow. Shrek returns to the swamp. Shrek loves fiona, but he is still who he is, and fiona loves him, but she is not who she was.

Still giving it 4 stars because the story is so realistic that it stabbed me in the head. Stories always have happy endings, but real life is not a Disney fairy tale. We'd like to be fiona, but Shrek's husbands take it for granted.
