Recently I always see similar remarks, "The Torment Room is really disappointing", "Quentin's part is not as good as Rodriguez's", at that time I was still waiting for the high-definition D version to appear, I didn't watch it myself. The long-awaited film, until I got the news that only half of the D version has been released in North America (I forgot which part), I finally gave up, I couldn’t wait any longer, and I felt wronged to watch the TS version. . Two days ago, a classmate asked me, "Have you watched "The Punishment Room"? It is said that Quentin's part is not complicated and good-looking!" I finally couldn't bear it anymore and broke out!
It is said that a rumor can give you the right to judge a thing in vain! Please get to know Quentin (hereinafter referred to as Da Kun) before you judge him!
Tell me what I think about this movie. Horror Planet and Death Proof combine to make this low-budget B-movie linked by those deliberately non-existent trailers, and the idea itself amazes me! And the cooperation between the two ghost directors is something that I can't miss.
"Terror" is full of all the elements that a zombie film should have, handsome guys, beautiful women, sex, boundless highways in the American West, ugly monsters in the dark night, blood splattered... These elements are perfectly matched in the hands of Daluo , all for the audience to reach a climax of excitement in biting and screaming! Daluo succeeded! I only have one question, why didn't the heroine get transformed into a zombie after being bitten by a zombie?
Say "Death". Da-kun sticks to his usual style in this film. At the beginning of the film, there are a few gossips - sex, guys, bitches - topics that will never disappear in Da Kun's film. I couldn't help sighing, "It's here again", but I didn't feel annoyed at all, because if there was no such thing as a foreshadowing of Kun's nagging, I think it would not be Da Kun, and there would be no need to watch it at all. .
There are two climaxes in "Death", one small and one large appear one after the other. The first climax was when the stuntman Mike flipped the heads of the gossip women at the beginning of the film with a speeding car on the Texas Highway at night. Dakun was probably afraid that the audience would be annoyed, so he specially arranged a small climax here to wake up the drowsiness in the theater. Because the good show has not yet been staged, the real killing has just begun...
The second climax comes in the next act of stuntman Mike. Da Kun asked stuntman Mike to drive his death proof followed by a car driven by three beauties, and once again staged a good car chase. The sound of metal crashing, the sparks generated by friction, Mike's provocative shouting, the terrified scream of the beauty... made my heart vacate again... and the ending was not as simple as I expected, Da Kun once again Set a trap for the audience. Do you think Mike can do his beautiful killing again? Killing is inevitable, but this time the killer and one to be killed are exchanged. Mike begged for mercy in the attack of the girl who fought back, and the film ended at the right time.
I finally understood that the long wait was all for the final ten minutes of climax service. Just imagine if you don't have this long foreshadowing, can you get this kind of pleasure as if your heart is also up and down if you just watch it for ten minutes? Da Kun knows this, and his well-intentioned attempt makes us feel his pleasure too. However, some people just complain that the dialogue is too long and boring. These people are not people who really love Da Kun's works!
Love Dakun because of his "little tricks". He shamelessly shows his foot fetish in almost every film; he loves to show a little face in every step of the film (most of the characters are perverts who die soon after appearing); he takes great pains He made up a bible so that the killer could nag the last paragraph before killing someone; he even made up an unwarranted cigarette brand "red apple"; the scratch effect he deliberately made in "The Torture Chamber"; There are well-designed and unexpected plot changes, such as the boss being sodomized in Pulp Fiction, the killer being killed on the toilet, the scene of brutalizing the police in Reservoir Dogs, and the scene in "Killing the Dawn" from The road movie suddenly turned into a zombie movie... Only the surprise that Dakun brought me gave me a shock that made me completely orz!
I don't think Da Kun and Da Luo care what others say about their work, because they just want to pay homage to a kind of cheap B-movie that has passed away and almost forgotten! Or they do it just for fun. And I don't care what you think of my article, because I just salute the master in my heart! Despite what you might say, he's nothing but a ruffian!

  • Wray: That's my jacket. I looked for it for two weeks.

  • Wray: Did you find what was in the pocket?

    Cherry: Fuck no.

    Wray: Look for it.

    Cherry: [searches through one pocket]

    Wray: No, the other one.

Cherry: [searches through the other pocket and takes out a box with a ring inside it]

Wray: I was gonna give it to you, but you left me. 'Cuz you took the jacket...

CherryWray: ...and I looked for it for two weeks.
