The two partners gags on the satellite phone and pushes to a small climax as Phyllis runs to the front. The two of them are revolving around a sentence: Don't be a smart aleck. Don't be smart. At the end, Ferrari didn't want to continue working for the CIA, and Hoffman told him "you gave up America" and "don't call yourself American Ed."
