For the peace of mind, Reivew on Three Seasons

The movie was dropped because of the poster, and the translated name is also very nice. I was prepared before watching it, it might be a very boring movie, because the "Love of Green Papaya" I watched before made me want to sleep. But this film just started watching, and I couldn't stop. The plot was not tense but compact, slow but not loose. It strung together the stories of several lower-class people and told them in a eloquent manner, which made people feel very useful.

The people in the story are rich in heart, but they are very peaceful on the surface. Despite their poor life and all kinds of helplessness, they can see hope and beauty in their forbearance. So restrained, so peaceful, it makes me feel like these people are living in a spiritual paradise.

I really like the nursery rhyme sung by the lotus girl. The lyrics are simple but profound. Singing in Vietnamese has a unique flavor. After the movie was over, I listened to it over and over again.

Because of this song and this movie, I really want to go to Vietnam.
