Looking back, I guessed the suspense of "The Flaw" when it was less than a third of the way into the film. I'd love to say how talented I am, but I can't be too cheeky to exaggerate the complexity of the plot. The truth is actually very simple. A person with certain analytical skills will not miss this doubt, let alone a criminal law expert with a strong sense of detective.
But even so, "Broken" is still a good movie in my opinion. First of all, although the basic suspense is no longer there, the confrontation between the two sides after the suspense is still worth seeing. It's like two martial arts masters, one has internal injuries and the other doesn't. Secondly, the old man's acting skills are always refreshing, or more precisely, convincing. This time, the image is not much different than Hannibal, let alone transcendence, but it is already very comfortable just like this.
There are actually many problems with the story: the suspense at the beginning is too dramatic, and the repeatability is not very strong; the protagonist is forced to be a criminal lawyer who does not read detective novels at all, which is also a problem; there are too many lines of irrelevant characters, Too much ink was wasted; the advertising shots of "Samsung" mobile phones are too excessive, and I feel that the director's entire family has Samsung's electrical appliances and free calls. On the whole, the story is still predictable, but there are a lot of sidelines and endings. The inside is not chaotic at least messy, and the outside is uneven. The word "wolverine" is the best way to describe it.
This kind of story will be turned into a mysterious movie with a hammer in the east and a stick in the west, but the director handled this "wolverine" story quite well. Not only does it maximize the use of a little role that is almost useless, but also use these uses in a few key points, leaving no extra time for people to reflect on its essence; A love line that is completely unconnected with the main line and has nothing to do with suspense enters, and finally naturally transitions to the end it should have been. The ending of the film, which is particularly worthy of praise, corresponds to the beginning of the court session. It is humorous and open at the same time. It can be said that it is the best part of the whole movie.
If the actor's performance is to see a breakthrough, there is no need to bother. Hannibal Lecter's status is estimated to be surpassed by no one in the next 50 years, including Anthony Hopkins himself. Ryan Gosling's lawyer is handsome and energetic, and the transformation process is also well acted, but the first half of the film still feels better. The rest are supporting roles, and many can be omitted.
"Weakness" is full of flaws in the plot, but the storytellers, the people who pushed the cameras, the people who matched the music, and the people who cut the shots, all gave good answers. Of course, you can't take a closer look at everything, just ask for a rough idea. Otherwise, as said in the movie, as long as you look carefully, there is no egg that does not crack.
