On the theme of Afraid, the movie leads to several story lines around several protagonists. I think what it says is: Don't be afraid. When people face the clown, they will be evoked the most feared and least wanted memories. It's not so much a fight with the clown as it's a fight with yourself. When they can finally face the fear in their hearts and come out of the haze of the past, they will no longer be controlled by fear.
The middle part of the movie is very good, but based on my opinion: all the movies with a predictable ending can't be ranked in the top, so?
Another: not scary, I swear there is a cultural generation gap
