Memories of First Love movie review

I think people are a combination of good and evil. The heroine's person has a bit too "white lotus". In the plot, the male protagonist acts in a drama together because he gets along with the female protagonist. I was moved by the kindness and purity of the heroine. Finally correct the evil. The two are in love. Suddenly the heroine got leukemia (ps. This is the most unacceptable thing to me. This disease has been talked about for a long time, why was the heroine so energetic before) and then got married. excuse me?? I think the connection is a bit too blunt and old-fashioned. But with all that said, it's still a relatively good chicken soup movie that nourishes the soul.

A Walk to Remember quotes

  • Reverend Sullivan: "Do not be deceived. God is not mocked." Hmmm.

[Landon walks into the Church as Reverend Sullivan is practicing his sermon]

Reverend Sullivan: "Whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap..." Can I help you?

Landon: Uh, yes, sir. I'd like to ask your daughter to dinner on Saturday night.

    Reverend Sullivan: That's not possible.

Landon: Well... with all due respect, sir, I ask you to reconsider.

Reverend Sullivan: With all due respect, Mr. Carter, I made my decision. You can, uh, exit the way you entered.

Landon: Listen, I'm sorry I haven't treated Jamie the way I should've. She deserves more than that. I'm just asking you for the same thing that you teach us every day in Church. And that's faith.

    Reverend Sullivan: [Exhales deeply]

  • Landon: That is one scary

[turns around and sees Jamie's father]

    Landon: Jesus!

    Reverend Sullivan: No, Jamie's father.
