Compared to the previous one, this sequel didn't shock me.

I was looking forward to this movie before watching it, but after watching it, I felt that it was sincere. The horrors that were deliberately piled up with blood and screams, and many plots that had little to do with the main line were confusing, which led to the procrastination of the rhythm.

It's not useless, it still focuses on inner fear, but the last time "The Clown Returns" made me see a nightmare of fear, and this time, various monster hallucinations and so on appeared in turn, but it made me feel relatively dull, I don't know if it's the director's shooting technique or something else, there is even a section in the middle that makes me feel a little bored. In fact, I still like the setting of childhood memories interspersed in the main line. Personally, I feel that the acting skills of children are stronger than those of adults.

The beginning is not bad, but the content after that can't hold up to 169 minutes. Coincidentally, I just watched the extended version of "The Pianist at Sea" two days ago. It was also 169 minutes. There was no horror factor in it, but there were a few scenes that gave me goosebumps. Although it's not the same genre, but this film really needs more work to catch people's attention. It's not the blood plasma, the horror music, and the scary things. Even if it's a wonderful horror film, maybe it's a clown. 1 left a deep impression on me, 2 is really dwarfed compared to the previous work, the surface is scary, but after reading it, the heart will not be disturbed.
