It's a battle between a brilliantly intelligent engineer and a so-so prosecutor, and an excellent demonstration of American law. The first is not to use evidence of questionable origin, because this makes almost all evidence invalid, which is a perfect trick. Then there is never a crime. If no evidence is found, the defendant can only be released in court, and cannot be detained for an extended period of time. In the end, there is no second instance for one crime. If the court has already made a judgment, even if there is sufficient evidence in the future, it cannot be tried again! The composure of the murderer reminds people of "prison break".
Smart is smart, and any egg has cracks. What I don't understand is, what the hell is going on with that other law firm? Is it a trap to distract prosecutors? Until the end, there was no further development and explanation, which made some people feel inexplicable.
