The result did not disappoint me. Du Wenze dubbed shrek, modified the dialogue through Cantonese adaptation, and added a lot of local Hong Kong, or Cantonese oral culture, which was vivid and interesting and made people laugh. The original English sound should also be wonderful, but I guess, maybe the foreign humor may not be well understood by us after such a translation.
After watching it, I felt a lot of relaxed and happy. The quality of the movie is sometimes not limited by the presence or absence of profound connotations, and the emotional impact that can bring me joy. I think it is a good movie.
For friends who understand Cantonese, having the opportunity to see the Cantonese dubbed version is really a different feeling. Du Wenze's performance is outstanding, of course, the one who designed and adapted the lines is even more brilliant ^-^
