Reappearance of dinosaurs and the limitations of science

The movie was broadcast on CCTV 6 last night. In my memory, this was a blockbuster I watched when I was in college, and there were not many blockbusters at that time. Seems to be seen in the cinema next to the school. But I don't remember too much. But I still remember the shock of the year. Extremely outstanding stunts, and the imagination of the sea and the sky. Spielberg is indeed a very great director. Re-watched last night, the dinosaurs made by those stunts are still very, very cute, and the image of free walking and living in the primeval forest is deeply rooted in the hearts of the people. As a result, I am more familiar and familiar with this animal 60 million years ago than many animals that still exist today. And where the plot is tense, the brutal scenes scared me to blindfold. There are few loopholes.
One of the most interesting findings is that in this movie, which uses a large number of computer special effects due to the high development of science and technology, Spielberg used the genetic engineering of dinosaurs to question modern science: Can science make humans think that they are the world? Can dominate nature and transcend nature? Of course, the answer given by the director is no. It can be seen that this reflects the modern West's understanding of the limitations of science after introspecting science since the 20th century. Science cannot be an excuse for human arrogance. However, this does not affect the greatness of science. After all, because of the development of science, Spielberg was able to create, and we can see the image of dinosaurs that lived leisurely in nature 60 million years ago.

Many years ago, I saw dinosaurs running around on black and white TV. I was stunned. Later I found out that it was a shot from Jurassic Park. Now it doesn't look much. At that time, I always exclaimed how it was taken.

At that time, Spielberg was almost the same as Cameron when he was filming "Alien 2", but he preferred the latter who spared no effort. Basically, it is zero recognition and zero authorship. At best, it is commendable that it is the detailed descriptions that are rare in commercial films, watching the back mirror and the various reflections of the puddle, and the like. In other words, the ecological balance argument introduced at the beginning was pretty good, but unfortunately I didn't dig deep.

John Hammond: Are the children all right?

Dr. Alan Grant: The children are fine. Call the mainland. Tell them to send the damn helicopters.

[we hear the raptors smashing the windows]

Dr. Ellie Sattler: It's gonna come through the glass!

[Grant starts shooting at it. Hammond listens to the noises]

    John Hammond: [screaming] GRANT!

  • Tim: That means they only eat vegetables, but for you, I think they'd make an exception.
