What should we want? ? ?

I think it’s been a long time ago, but it should actually be last year. On a certain flight to Europe, I watched an American movie.
Not ugly, typical American Hollywood style. Especially the hapless girl in the film, because she starred in the Princess Diary, my princess listed her as the most favorite overseas actress. Although her looks and style are not my styl, she still helped me spend the difficult time on the plane happily. .
In a blink of an eye, in 2007, this movie that I had gradually forgotten about suddenly became popular. It won a lot of awards and began to be released in China. The most prominent sign is that it is placed at the top of the street buying stalls.
This movie is "The Queen Wearing Prada". Starring Meryl Streep and Anne Hathaway.
It's actually an old story. A high-achieving student who had just set foot in society, originally wanted to become a famous reporter, but had to condescend to apply for a fashion magazine to do miscellaneous tasks for his living. The owner of the magazine that leads the world in fashion is a violent and powerful woman, ruling her kingdom with a very professional and therefore inhuman management style. One is the queen who is powerful and unshakable so that everyone can only choose to surrender; the other is a newcomer who has to survive but also has the ambition to create a world of his own. After running into each other, they finally understood and appreciated each other, and finally parted ways and went their separate ways.
Meryl Streep played Miranda so beautifully. The contempt in the eyes, the domineering action, the mean language, and the exquisite dress make people feel her aura in that circle. When Andy was serious about Miranda's teamwork for the first time, she chose to laugh out of the two belts where she could not see the difference and called it "the thing", Miranda wore it to her. The blue low-end sweater of was evaluated. That was the only time Miranda showed her professionalism in the film. Through the history of blue becoming a fashion planning, design, and marketing history in a few years, we have seen why Miranda became the queen of that kingdom. When Miranda unexpectedly announced a new candidate at the Paris cocktail party to calmly resolve a crisis that threatened her throne, we could not help but admire the woman's scheming and the fierceness of maintaining her status as a queen.
After watching this movie, I was confused. What kind of life should we have?
Miranda's life? Like the queen, the wind calls for rain, and the scenery is infinite. But endless work, endless pressure, endless sinisterness, and endless competition. Work has become all of life, there is no family, no love. When you see Miranda haggardly talking about her broken up marriage again, when you see her making dirty exchanges with her loyal subordinates in order to keep her throne, do you still want her to live like this? ? In the film Andy chose no.
Andy's life? Do not succumb to society and seek your own development space? is it possible? How is the humble house rented with her boyfriend better than Miranda's mansion? Does the beer I drank at a gathering of friends for many years tasted the same as the wines in the rich feasts I attended when I was an assistant to Miranda? There is no need to compare a crowded subway with a comfortable Mercedes-Benz car, right? At the end of the film, Andy's boyfriend decides to go to Boston to be a chef. Will Andy go with him? Why did she come to New York in the first place? If it is said that she won by leaving Miranda, what about she really leaving New York? Did she win?
Life is so unreliable!
True love always seems to belong to poverty. The life of the rich is destined to be full of conspiracy and deception; success must come at the cost of losing the joy of life. If you want to enjoy life, you will have no chance of success; what we have to do is never what we want to do, What makes our lives better is destined to be a job we don't like. Beautiful women always have poor temperaments, but good women are often not beautiful enough. God, can't you make mankind perfect when you are old? !
Therefore, I disagree with Andy's departure in the movie. That is just a gift from Hollywood to the people of the world.
I feel that the truth is hidden in the smile that Miranda's mouth shows when he sees Andy at the end of the movie.
That smile is very meaningful.
